A professional website writing service for hospitality and
lifestyle brands
Share your story with compelling content that draws in customers.

Is your website making the right first impression? Or are you leaving your most important writing up to someone who doesn’t know a keyword from Kahlua?
Your website is often the very first interaction a potential customer will have with your brand. So some slap-dash copy isn’t going to cut it. You need copy that says,
“Hey! Over here! I’ve got what you’re looking for!!”
Maybe your business is brand new, and you’re not sure how to sell yourself to the public. Or maybe you’re an old pro, but your website content could use a little polish.
Or perhaps you’ve just heard about this search engine optimization thing, and you want some of that! But you have 1,497 things on your to-do list, and learning SEO content writing would just be number 1,498.
- A well-written website can lead to more web traffic...
- which leads to more bookings...
- which leads to more sales...
- which leads to more great reviews...
- which leads to more bookings...
- which leads to celebrations!
Well-optimized website copy is the foundation of your SEO strategy. And SEO is how search engines connect your business with people looking for your services.
A website written by Shakespeare won’t do you any good if no one can find it.
But why have someone else write my website copy when I know my business best?
Because you may not know website content writing best practices. Being a good writer isn’t enough. You have to know how to get visitors to your site in the first place, and what to do with them once they get there.
A professional hospitality writer (like moi) will find the sweet spot between your brand voice, the right search terms, and copywriting best practices to get your business more site traffic and more customers.

When you choose Eat, Drink, and Write Copy
to create your website content,
here’s what you’ll get:
Up to 6 site pages of quality content (300-1,000 words per page), each optimized for a relevant keyword where appropriate
Keyword-optimized meta titles and meta descriptions for each web page
A basic wireframe with a page layout for you or your designer to use as a guide when building out each page
SEO is a process, not a one-time solution. So I’ll also give you a “next steps” document that you can use to do additional on-page and off-page SEO.
Once you’ve approved the web copy that I provide, you’ll be able to use the associated wireframes as a guide for the layout of your copy and images. The wireframe is just a suggestion, so if you or your web designer want to do something different, feel free!
The Website Content Writing Process
1.
First, we’ll get our Zoom on and talk about you! I need to understand your services, your niche, and your ideal customer. I’ll also want to get some insight into your brand voice.
2.
I’ll start my research, including competitor research, review mining, keyword research, and more. Then I’ll start scribbling, putting voice to all the goodies you offer!
3.
I’ll send over the content on (or before!) our agreed delivery dates, along with keywords, wireframes, meta title, and meta description.
Then you can hand it off to your designer (if you have one!) to put it up and make it real purdy.

FAQ
Can I see some samples?
Yes! Check out my portfolio.
What format will my content come in?
I provide all of my work in Google Docs.
What if I want to make some changes?
That's totally normal, but there may be some method behind the madness. Let's talk about it, and you'll get two rounds of revisions included with each page.
How long will it take to receive my website copy from you?
That can depend a bit on my workload. I generally complete jobs in the order they're received. I'll give you a concrete day once we've chatted a bit.
You'll receive the first page of web copy in advance of the rest of the project, so you can look it over and make sure you like the direction I've taken. Then, I'll move on to the rest of the pages.
Can you put the content on my website for me?
I can, but I'm not a designer. You'll probably end up with a better looking site if you outsource it to a pro! If you'd like me to do it, I will have to charge an additional fee.
